Ware County has a total area of 903 square miles  and is the largest geographically in Georgia. 597 square miles of it is land and 306 square miles  of it is water. A large portion of the county lies within the Okefenokee Swamp and its federally protected areas. Waycross/ Ware Co. has a population of approximately 37,000 residents.

  • Satilla Regional Medical Center is a leading center in health care in the area. The 3 story facility has a tramua unit, cancer care unit, outpatient surgery and imaging services. With over 1,000 employees and 100 physicians.
